Anna Mae Dantzler

Anna Mae Dantzler, 83, our beautiful mother, has gone home to be with our Heavenly Father, February 7, 2023, surrounded by her family. Anna was of the Baptist faith and a longtime member of Fairview Baptist Church in Rossville, GA. She was artistic and creative. Anna enjoyed gardening, gospel music, playing the piano and singing.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Dantzler; mother, Lola Godfrey Clayton; father, Martin Clayton; brothers, Elbert Clayton and W.L. (Bud) Clayton; sisters, Marie Elkins, Willodyne Smith, and Shirley Delatorre.

Survived by her loving daughters, Laranda Ann Dantzler and Karen Dantzler Stutzman; grandchildren, Brandon (Emily) Smith and LaRae Smith; great-grandchildren Conner Smith; a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Home, 3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742, at 3:00 PM.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
