"Angie" Angeleete Nichols

October 1, 1961 — November 28, 2018

“Angie” Angeleete Elizabeth Nichols, 57-years-old, went to heaven on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in her beloved hometown of Chattanooga, TN. She had an unwavering faith in God and endless love for her family. Angie was born on October 1, 1961 in Chattanooga, TN to Carolyn Wright and Earl Akin and was the second of six children.
Angie loved to sing, her lovely voice was a gift used for the lord's service. She also loved to read, pray, yard sale, play games/cards, chat with friends, watch Madea movies and absolutely adored the Christmas season - just to name a few of her favorite things. Her love of animals was admirable, she saved and loved so many displaced animals during her life.
She was a successful AVON sales woman, continually earning her position in the President’s Club; this venture allowed her to meet and build relationships with many special people – her absolute favorite part of the job. Her greatest joy in life was helping others, especially animals and the elderly. She was a true light in this world.
Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. Known for her kind heart an eagerness to help others. Her gift to this world was helping others through her faith and will never be forgotten by the many hearts she touched.
The world has a little less love and heaven has gained an angel. We love you sweet, beautiful Angie Elizabeth Nichols, always.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Nelms Wright; father, Otis Earl Akin.
Angie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Eric Nichols; daughter, Brandy Akin; siblings, Cheryl Lively, Ted Akin, Marla Lowe, Lena Pitt, and Levina Akin; nephews, Brandon Akin, Kevin Powell, Cheston Brownlee, and Tristan Swain; along with several other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
