Andrew Lovingood

Andrew William Lovingood passed away peacefully at his home on July 2, 2021. He retired from Johnson Controls and was a faithful member of Central Church of Christ.
He was the son of Gordon and Arminda Lovingood. The last of ten children; brothers, Robert, Cecil, and Sheridan Lovingood; sisters, Florence and Bertie Lovingood, Lou Mae Nunley, Katie Harris, Lillie Frank, and Dovie Ratledge.
He is survived by his wife Margaret McKinney Lovingood, sons, Scott, and Chris Lovingood (Lena), 2 grandsons, Matthew Logan (Emily) Lovingood and Samuel Bao Lovingood, one sister-in-law Wilma Lovingood and several nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed the many visits from all his family and loved ones during his life. The many daily phone calls brought a smile to his face during the last years of his life.
He requested no services and in lieu of flowers, donations are made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Tennessee Children’s Home.
A Private Memorial will be held in his honor to celebrate his life.
