Alma "Aileen" Lee

Alma “Aileen” Lee, 84, loving wife and mother and a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Friday afternoon, December 9th, 2016 at her home. Aileen was born in Tellico Plains, TN on August 4th, 1932 a daughter of the late Charles & Essie Freeman. She worked locally for many years before retiring from Hardwick Clothes and also Collins Manufacturing. Aileen was of the Church of God faith and attended Kinser Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Buford Freeman and one grandson Tyler Durham
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of sixty four years Burch R. Lee, four children Jerry Lee and his wife Brenda, Nancy Hampton and her companion Chuck Kowalski, Marcia Barker and husband Daryl and Cynthia Gaines and her husband Ray, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, four siblings Eugene Freeman (Ermazo), Judy Dixon, Shirley Woods and Kenneth Freeman (Faye). She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Monday, December 12th, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rick Freeman, Brian Freeman, Bobby Freeman, Shawn Freeman, David Dixon, and Brandon Freeman serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends in the funeral home parlor on Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and also one hour prior to the service on Monday.
