Allan Dale Pierson

Allan Dale Pierson was born to the late Elizabeth Morgan on June 6th, 1953, in Greenwood Indiana. After graduating high school, Allan left Indiana and moved to Florida where he began his 34-year career at the United States Postal Service. He married Lorraine (Lori) Seeley on September 26, 1992.

Allan was first and foremost a devoted husband to his wife, Lori, and loving father to his daughters, Kate and Brooke. He was an avid collector of books on the Civil War, WWI, WWII, and other military history. He also enjoyed traveling, hiking, riding his bike, sailing, and kayaking. Allan loved to write and is a published author.

Allan will be remembered as a kind, warm-hearted man, whose presence provided comfort and a feeling of security in any situation due to his endless knowledge, wit, and sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Pierson, his daughters, Kate (David) and Brooke, and his brother Dale, his niece Courtney Newlin (Steven) and great nephews, Layne and Liam, in addition to close family and dear friends.
