Alice Louise Wheeler, 89, of Apison, Tennessee passed away February 19, 2023 at her residence Apison, Tennessee. She was born on March 11, 1933 in Abbington, Pennsylvania to Joshua and Minnie (Kilby) Sturgill. She is o the Seventh Day Adventist faith. Alice has lived in the area for the past 21 years after moving to Tennessee from Tacoma Park, MD. She loved to sing, reading and writing letters. She was a loving and kind person loved getting together with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald A. Wheeler and her daughter Donna Rae Wheeler-Wright. Her parents Joshua and Minnie Sturgill. Her siblings Ralph Sturgill, Russell T. Sturgill, Jack Sturgill, Bob Sturgill, Mack Sturgill, Lenore Sturgill Denivi, Millie Sturgill Reeves, and Archie Sturgill.

Alice is survived by daughter Linda Louise Wheeler. her sister Peggy Sturgill Jeys and her grandchildren Olivia, Ashley, Holly, Dale, and great grandchildren Devan and Amber.
