Trudy Gail Coffman Marr

Trudy Gail Coffman Marr, 60, of Rome, GA passed away on March 21, 2018. She was born on April 30, 1957 to the late Bill and Etta Faye Coffman. Trudy was born and raised in Cleveland, TN and has been living in Rome, GA for the past 10 years. While in Rome, she was a member of North Broad Baptist Church. Trudy enjoyed walking, spending time in nature, and being with her family. She loved being with children and served them in many ways. She worked in daycare, substitute teaching, and volunteered in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Trudy especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren and being with them.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant brother Ricky Dean.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons Chris Marr (Meaghan) and Derrick Marr (Cindy); brother David Coffman; sister Michele Rayburn (Jerry); grandchildren: Logan Marr, Claire Marr, Hannah Marr, and Josiah Marr; niece Ashley Kibble (Ben).
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday March 23, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm on Saturday March 24, 2018 with Rev. Micah Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow the service at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery.
