Ronald Richard Carpenter

Ronald Richard Carpenter, 71, of Georgetown, TN passed away on December 14, 2017. He was born on November 13, 1946 to the late Carroll and Winnie Carpenter. Ron was a veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed reading and photography.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 48 years, Sue Carpenter; son Mark Richard Carpenter and two sisters Carol Harder and Winnie Overton.
The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 5:00pm on Sunday December 17, 2017 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday December 18, 2017 at Temple Baptist Church in Murphy, NC. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the 1:00pm service time on Monday at the church. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
