Nina Mae Victoria Sparenberg

Nina Mae Victoria (Johansen) Sparenberg born March, 8 1947 in Lincoln County Oregon, peacefully passed away May 20, 2018 surrounded by brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Nina had many hobbies including: being outdoors and doing yard work, playing Facebook games with her many friends, needle point, cross stitch, and genealogy. More than anything, Nina loved her family. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by husband Edwin Joseph Sparenberg of Iowa, U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran; her parents Edna (LaDuke) Taylor & Harald Victor Emil Johansen; brother, Wayman W. Schmidt; sister, Debbie A. Scroggins; and grandson, Jake Little.

She is survived by her children Gary Orr (TN), Raymond (Michelle) Allbright (TN), Joseph (Victoria) Williams (NM), Lorlinda (Charles) Williams (FL), and Victor (Mitzi) Odom (TN), eleven grandchildren (James Orr, Jessica Allbright, Rebecca Allbright, Erica Allbright, David Allbright, Justus Williams, Taylor Jones, Julian Odom, Jocelynn Odom, Starr Leann Brown), four great grandchildren (Noah Beau Brown, Natalynn Marie Little, Orion Anthony Wayne Wolf, Calvin Daniel Ron McGee), brothers Rick (Elsie) Johansen, Allen (Lilo) Johansen, Daniel (Darlene) Johansen, Jack Johansen, and Leonard (Lynn) Greenlee, and sisters Edith (Kent) Wilson, Phylis (Buss) McDonald, Anna (Bill) Davis, and Penny (Doug) Breedlove.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 23, 2018 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.

A celebration of life funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 6:00pm, with Pastor Raymond Allbright officiating the service.
