Nakia Joseph Stinnett

January 10, 1976 — September 17, 2018

Nakia Joseph Stinnett, 42, passed away Monday September 17, 2018 in Cleveland, TN. A former resident of Florida, he moved back to his birthplace of Cleveland three years ago with his family. A lover of music, his favorite genre was heavy metal. He was inspired by Phil Anselmo, Dimebag Darrell and Dez Fafara. He was a talented singer and musician who could play any instrument he sat with. He loved spending time with his children. He enjoyed taking them on hikes, camping, going to the river and fishing. He loved the mountains, the beach and the woods. He found enjoyment being in nature and often referred to himself as a lone wolf.
He is preceded in death by his brother Justin Stinnett, his pawpaw Jim Cross and his uncle Jackie Cross.
He is survived by his five children; Marcus Joseph 16, Elizabeth Skyler 13, Aiden Lane 7, Jackson Patrick 7, Lucian William 3; mother, Barbara Brown; his “old lady” of twelve years Pamela ; three nephews, Josh, Kyler, Kallum; aunts, Brenda, Charlotte, Mary Jo; Uncle Bo, and numerous cousins and life-long friends; Brutha Marc and Cracky.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the family or to Companion Funeral Home.
