Marvin Taylor Sr.

Marvin Eugene Taylor Sr., 79, of East Ridge, TN, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on April 18, 2017. He was born on August 18, 1937 in Lebanon TN to the late Powell and Crete Taylor. Marvin served in the National Guard and retired from Combustion Engineering. He Loved God and was an active member of his church.

Marvin was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline and his grandson, Dakota.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Charlotte Romaine (Laymon) Taylor; children, Elizabeth (Mike) Mccormick, Karen (Steve) Dickey, Gene (April) Taylor, James Taylor, Angela (Steve) Frost, and Danielle (Rob) Harned; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Grace Works church 6445 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN on April 30 from 3-5 PM.
