Mark Gross

Mark Gross, 47, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, went home to be with The Lord, surrounded by his family on Monday September 11, 2017. He was born on April 29, 1970 in Harlan, Kentucky. Mark was a member of the Rev. Life Church. All that knew him, knew him for his extraordinary work ethic. Even in his illness, he would be working hard in the sawmill. In his free time, Mark enjoyed watching Nascar and his beloved University of Kentucky Wildcats. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed by all those that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents and two special uncles.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Tammy Gross; mother, Sherry Patterson; father, Jim Gross (Angie); children, Justin Gross and Justin Welzenbach; grandchildren, Willow Gross and McKenna Welzenbach; siblings, Jeremy Hall (Thelma), Angela (Chris) DiCola, and Jennifer (Victor) Figueroa; father and mother-in-law, Don & Charlene Deibert; brother-in-law, Tim Deibert; aunts and uncles, Pam Hostuttler, Allen Thomas, and Sheila & Dale Souble; special friends, Larry & Linda Creagan; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life memorial service is planned for 5:00pm on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at the Rev. Life Church, located at 1525 Jones Avenue SW, Cleveland, TN, with Brother Anthony Traylor and Pastor Charlen Bradford officiating the service.
The family will receive friends two hours prior, from 3:00pm until the 5:00pm service time at the church.
