Florence Jean Lewallen

Florence Jean Lewallen, 64, of Birchwood, TN passed away on November 13, 2017. She was born on July 22, 1953 to the late Tom and Viola Myers. Jean was a lifelong resident of this area. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and playing horseshoes. Above all things she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother and father, Jean is preceded in death by one brother James Franklin Myers; sister Darlene Myers; grandaughter Christina Dawn Nichols; uncle Charlie Adam Myers; niece Sabrina Ann Jones; nephew Carl Lee Grady.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 25 years, Earl Lewallen; sons: Andy Ferry (Jackie), Thomas Ferry, Tony Ferry, and Tracy Lewallen; daughter Brenda Ferry; brothers: Dean Myers (Carolyn), Buck Myers (Sandra), Tommy Lee Adams (Jerry); sisters: Evelyn Adams, Mary Ann Meyer (Paul) and Shirley Jo White; grandchildren: Justin, Dusty, Kristin, Jeanette, Brittney, Nathaniel, Steven Ray, Breanna, Hawkin, Avery, Veronica, Samantha, and Cheyenne. In addition to these, she leaves behind fifteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

The family will recieve friends on Thursday November 16th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00pm at the funeral home with Rev. Dean Myers and Rev. Buck Myers officiating. Interment will be held on Friday November 17, 2017 at McInturff Cemetery at 1:00pm.
