Donald "Donnie" Byers

Donald “Donnie” Byers Jr, 57, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017. He was a devoted husband and loving father. He loved tinkering with little things. He loved his church, making people smile, and most of all, giving to other people. Donnie will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Byers; brothers, Timothy Byers, Michael Byers, and Rusty Byers.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 38 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Byers; father, Donald R. Byers; children, Billy Byers (Bridgette), Traves Byers (Stacy), and Krystl McClure (Chase); beloved grandchildren, Brayden Byers, Blake Byers, Brentley Byers, Andrew Byers, Trevor Byers, Matthew Byers, Izabella McClure, and Dakota McClure; sisters, Ronitta Lynn, Jeanette Barker, and Rhonda Paskell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life service is planned for 1:00pm on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Maranatha Baptist Church, located at 453 Blue Springs Lane SE, Cleveland, TN 37311, with Pastor Robert Nelms officiating the service.
