Cynthia Joan Glaspey

Cynthia Joan Glaspey's fight with cancer concluded the morning of August 14, 2017. Cynthia was an amazing woman, who was fiercely kind, loving, welcoming, and a strong warrior, with the constant uphill battle of her health. She was born May 16, 1953 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. First born of Jack and Joan Knowler. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack William Knowler. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Robert Glaspey, who resides in Winter Springs, Florida, and their daughter Skye Sweezey, and her partner William Lunny of Cleveland, Tennessee. She is also survived by her mother, Joan Knowler of Athens, Tennessee, five brothers and one sister. Michael and Linda Knowler of Newton, Iowa. Timothy and Lila Knowler of Eddyville, Iowa. Laura and Dana Wilson, of Benton, Tennessee. Andrew and Thelma Knowler of Riceville, Tennessee. Scott and Erica Knowler of Littleton, Massachusetts. Brian and Kayla Knowler of Athens, Tennessee. Plus many loved relatives and friends. Cynthia will be genuinely mourned and missed by all that knew and loved her, but she will never be forgotten. Her memorial will be located at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Athens, at 2 pm. (Address: 2816 US-11, Athens, TN 37303.
