Charles Hubert Murphy

Charles Hubert Murphy, 73, a resident of Cleveland, TN, went home to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his family and friends on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
Charlie was a faithful member of the Honestville Baptist Church. He loved his family with all his heart, he loved to hear good gospel preaching and loved to worship with his family and church family. He loved to praise the Lord.
He was proceeded in death by his mother Beatrice Millaway Murphy and his father Hubert Murphy, his grandparents and several uncles and aunts.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 54 years Marion Mysinger Murphy, daughter Lillian Morfield (William), son Michael Murphy (Becky), grandchildren Amber Morfield, Angel Murphy, Aaron Murphy and one great- grandchild Wiley Murphy. One brother Dewayne Murphy (Annalee), three sisters Linda Murphy Cook, Alice Murphy Taylor (Dennis) and Debbie Murphy Scroggins (Junior). One sister-in-law Peggy Mysinger Black. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Honestville Baptist Church in Ooltewah, TN at 3:00 PM, with Wayne Murphy and Greg Banther officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 till 8:00 on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN. The family will also receive friends from 1:00 till 3:00 on Sunday at the church. Following the service on Sunday the family and friends will process to Johnston Cemetery in Meigs County.
