Charles "Chuck" Timothy Davis

Mr. Charles “Chuck” Timothy Davis son of late William Davis and Nancy Rudd Padgett born on October 14, 1953 in Chattanooga, TN went home to be with the Lord at 11:45 PM on March 17, 2017. Brother to Kenny, Barry, and Sister Wendy. He is survived by his wife Sharon Davis, sons Timothy Keith, Kevin Lee and daughter Channing Leigh and grandchildren: Maya, Myles, Maggie, Eli and Kolbi.

To watch the evolution of a man’s character and faith can be excruciatingly painful, extremely confusing and unbearingly flustrating. I am so extremely proud to say that, in the case of my father, the evolution ended in a man of great faith and unwavering character. Each man and woman walking this earth has to find his own way through this evolution and my father achieved this in great style and resilience.

Chuck and Sharon would have celebrated 45 years of marriage on May 26th. He loved spending time with his family and friends, taking it easy. He was a man of his projects, and enjoyed tasking in his free time. He loved sports of every nature, but was most loyal to the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football. He enjoyed exploring nature and learning the history of things. If Chuck could leave a message behind as a stranger, a friend, a brother, a son, a husband, a father and a Pa it would be that the most important things in life are free and this is one’s love and trust in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Visitation will be held on Sunday March 19 at New Bethel Baptist Church 8640 Harrison Bay road from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday March 20 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the New Mcdonald Cemetery.
